ABOUT ME

MY STORY

Hannah Lehrer (that’s me!) is a performer, writer, and director from Tampa, FL. A passionate lover of all things innovatively theatrical, national parks, junk journaling, pretending she’s from New England, and anything remotely related to Snoopy.

Hannah graduated from Molloy University’s CAP 21 Conservatory with a BFA in Theater Performance and remains a proud alumnus of the Howard W. Blake Performing Arts School. With these educational vehicles, she has been able to foster her ideal jump into the world of multi-hyphenate artistry. You can catch her acting in new plays and musicals, directing her own pieces, and aiding in the script development processes for shows in their early stages of life.

An enthusiast for alternative and accessible live theater, Hannah’s ultimate dream is to be creating, in any capacity she can. As an undergraduate student, she was lucky enough to collaborate with her peers on devised projects and original pieces, including Cretaceous!, a contemporary puppetry-dominated, pop musical (yes, about dinosaurs!). In her senior year with CAP 21, she took on the challenge of directing a reimagined four-person production of Othello, an adapted script by Y York. You can also find her serving as a production assistant to the long-running Celebrity Autobiography comedy show.

Post-grad, Hannah has also worked to aid her fellow actors in the audition process, offering coaching and script analysis work to those who want a second set of eyes or just a deep dive into character building. Like a true acting nerd— no script is safe from her grasp, and no role is too complicated to dissect.

Whether onstage or off, she is proud to be in the vibrant theatre community that encapsulates New York City, always appreciating the opportunity to connect with entertainment lovers everywhere.
